Nettie Jane's Kitchen is a shared membership commercial kitchen located on West Point Pike in Lansdale, PA. Easily accessible from all major roadways in Montgomery and Bucks County this is the place to start your food business. The kitchen is outfitted with high-end commercial equipment and offers a variety of pots, pans, baking pans and tools. Members will also enjoy the use of premium catering supplies; glassware, dishware, serving trays. Nettie Jane's Kitchen is licensed by the Montgomery County Health Department and is inspected regularly.
Ownership
I am a graduate of the Restaurant School at Walnut Hill College, Philadelphia. My goal in attending culinary school was to open my own business which I did with Nettie Jane's Bakery Cafe in North Wales. After finding I did not love the retail environment, I closed the cafe and went in search of a commercial space to cater out of. Nothing I found met my requirements for cleanliness, food security, and proximity to my community. The new owner of the cafe did not need my high-end, gently used restaurant equipment so my husband, John, and I went in search of a commercial space. We were able to acquire a very unique space in our community. I knew that if I could not find a desirable commercial space other chefs and food entrepreneurs were probably having difficulty too. That frustration inspired the idea for a shared membership kitchen.
I have been operating my catering company, Sweet Nettie Catering, LLC, out of the space since October 2017 and I am loving it. It's a great space!
